1st Annual Greater Canonsburg Chamber

5K Bunny Run & Family Easter Walk

April 27, 2019

- 8:30 a.m. start time

Will hold on-site warm-up prior to the kickoff to help participants prepare for a great run/walk; warm-up is 10-12 minutes in length starting at 8:00 AM sharp (Canonsburg Hospital). Participants should arrive an hour early to begin registration, and plan to join Barre3 for a morning stretch prior to race kickoff. We will also be offering early packet pickup at the Chamber Friday, April 26th, from noon to 4:00. Early pickup means you can arrive to the event by 8:00 a.m. to join Barre3.

Salud Express Juicery & Wellness Bar

Will set up at 8:45 AM at the finish line (Sarris Candies), offering participants specialty juices and smoothies to help with recovery. For anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms this past winter, a vitamin-rich ‘health shot’ will be available and might do the trick to boost your immune system. Salud to your health!

The Greater Canonsburg Chamber is partnering with the health industry to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, provide education on preventative diseases as well as open up marketing and shopping opportunities for those businesses who are members and represent the Canonsburg Chamber  of Commerce in all of the areas we serve (Canonsburg, Cecil Township, Chartiers Township, Houston, Mt. Pleasant Township & North Strabane Township).

You are welcome to register the day of the event. Registration fee of $25 has been extended now through 3/31/19.

Vendors will be on site sharing information on health and wellness. 4H will be joining them with live bunnies.

Consider sharing a basket that represents your business. We plan to raffle them off during the awards portion ending our event. Sample products? Yummy treats? Discounted services? We want your business to be involved, and get noticed. And we want participants to have an awesome experience. Please email to, or call 315-408-0884.

Pike St, left onto Hutchinson St up to W. College St; turn left onto W. College down to Bluff St intersection where a cone is set up, turn around at the cone and (staying on W. PROCEEDS - Proceeds from the event will help organize the second annual 5k Bunny Run and Family Easter Walk, award two 1,000 scholarships to one graduating student from any of the following school districts: Canon-Mac, Chartiers Houston or Fort Cherry; as well as promote and spotlight Canonsburg Chamber members in the areas we serve. We plan to utilize various marketing opportunities (newsprint, radio advertising, local TV, networking events etc.). We are working to attract prospective new members in order to grow the GCCC Chamber’s present membership base. The Canonsburg Chamber just released its first online member directory, and hopes to print and distribute it locally to businesses and chamber members in the future.

Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you there!
